Beyond Conciergerie

Jérome’s place was what I wish every AirB&B would be. Clean is my first priority, and it was, very. It’s in a gorgeous spot, quieter than expected and exactly as the photos look. Unlike every other place we visited in France, restaurants closed early here (in September when we were there) so make sure to make reservations. The most astonishing thing was that when we realized WE had made an error on our arrival date, Jérome was so amazingly generous and kind by refunding the night instantly. Thank you, Jérome! Vous êtes fantastique! (Et pardon ma Français!)

Myself and my family had a wonderful experience staying in St.Emilion. Jerome provided a very warm welcome when we arrived at the house and was extremely responsive throughout our stay. He provided excellent recommendations for restaurants and chateaux visits in the local area and we were not disappointed. The house was very comfortable and the facilities were excellent for us. We had a private chef recommended by Jerome cook for us one evening which was an excellent experience. We were sad to leave but I am sure we will be back! Thank you!

La Demeure de la Combe was a very special place for our family reunion. In the centre of St Emilion, but very quiet and peaceful. Everything was perfect - the luscious pool, the shady garden, the comfortable beds, great linen and spacious rooms, lovely bathrooms, having a washer and dryer. Everything has been thought of, for a comfortable stay. The well-stocked kitchen made it easy for us to cook great vegetarian meals (not so easy to find in restaurants in France, that's our experience anyway) and eat outside under the grapevine, or inside at the large wooden table. The house was so beautifully decorated, with amazing art. Coming from NZ we have never stayed anywhere like this and loved every minute. We felt very lucky that the owners are sharing their house with visitors. Jérôme was a superb host, quickly answering all our questions in detail. La Conciergerie obviously take great care of the property as it was very clean and welcoming. Thanks very much for a fabulous stay.

Amazing home, so beautifully appointed but with modern and high quality appliances. The beauty of the home is only matched by the convenience of the location. Literally 3 minute walk from center of town while still being on a private quiet cobblestone street with very few cars ever going by. The pool and garden are so green and stunningly landscaped we could have spent every night cooking in the outstanding kitchen and eating on the terrace while the kids played in the pool. But we also had to take advantage of the location and visit the excellent restaurants. We were all comfortable in the beds with fluffy comforters and good AC / fans for the few hot nights. We were so sad to leave and will return for sure. Jerome was an excellent host and took great care of us.

Jerome Fournier is a fantastic host and property manager. He ensures our property near St. Emilion is ready for all guests and welcomes them to our home with his wonderful personality. I know our house is in great hands and is well cared for. Thank you, Jerome!
